You are correct that the Democrats are at the forefront, but you are missing the point of the story here. Our nation needs courageous and bold leadership at both ends of the political spectrum. I have simply given examples of Conservative leaders who have shown that courage in the recent past. I am not against new legislation which provides additional limitations on power.

Remember that whenever a party has an exew3cutive in office and the numbers in Congress they have taken advantage of that to expand presidential power to enable that executive to enact his agenda. Both parties are guilty of this.
